Former Jamestown Officer Indicted On Rape

A former Jamestown Police Officer has been indicted on charges of official misconduct and statutory rape.

Brandon Troy Adams faces three counts of statutory rape by an Authority Figure, three counts of Aggravated Statutory Rape, and one count of Official Misconduct. Adams turned himself in Thursday afternoon and was booked into the Fentress County Jail.

The TBI conducted the investigation into Adams at the request of District Attorney Jared Effler. Special agents were looking into allegations of official misconduct, according to the TBI.
