Tech Alum Atwood Appointed To 16th Circuit

Tennessee Tech alum Bonita Jo Atwood has been named judge of the 16th Judicial Circuit Court.

Atwood fills the vacancy of Royce Taylor, who retired in March. Taylor served the residents of Cannon and Rutherford Counties for some 21 years.

A graduate of the Nashville School of Law, Atwood received her Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Tech. She graduated cum laude. Atwood served as a managing partner at Atwood and Moore since 1995. Atwood previously practiced law in the Law Offices of Henry, Kious & Hall.
