A man was shot and killed outside a home in Dekalb County Thursday afternoon.
The TBI is investigating the case, according to Dekalb County Sheriff Patrick Ray. A caller to 911 Thursday around 12:30pm, said someone had been shot along Carter Drive. When law enforcement arrived, they found the man lying on the front porch of a residence with gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Ray said the preliminary investigation found the homeowner and the deceased had been arguing. The homeowner was not injured. The dead man’s identity has not been released. No arrests have been made.
