NHC Cookeville Cluster Reaches 24

The total number of COVID cases at NHC Cookeville reached 24 Wednesday with 10 of those who tested positive now recovered.

No patients or employees are currently awaiting test results. The long-term care facility currently has three patients dealing with COVID. A total of 13 patients tested positive. Three died.

A total of 11 employees tested positive. Five have recovered.

According to the State Department of Health, 156 facilities across Tennessee are dealing with COVID cluster outbreaks. Two Cumberland County facilities reported staff cases Tuesday. Life Care Center of Crossville and Wyndridge Health and Rehabilitation Center each reported two employee cases. Jamestown’s Signature Health Care Center reported three staff members had tested positive.
