Livingston Regional Reopening Visitations

/ The Upper Cumberland's News Leader

Livingston Regional Hospital will reopen for visitation starting Monday.

Patients who qualify will be allowed one visitor per day. Livingston Regional Director of Physicians Relations and Marketing Hospital David Cox said at risk or Covid patients will not be permitted visitors.

“All visitors will be screened with temperature checks and asked a few questions to allow them admission to see their family or loved one,” Cox said. “Visitors who do not pass the screening entry will be asked to reschedule their visit until they are symptom free.”

Cox said patients in the ICU, rehab, labor or emergency room may have visitors. Masks will not be provided to visitors due to limited supplies.

“All well visitors must bring a mask,” Cox said. “This is to protect our personal protection equipment volumes at our hospital for our staff and hospital.”

Visitation hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cox said social distancing will still be practiced during visitation.
