2 COVID Deaths At CRMC; Active Cases Down

Cookeville Regional reports two more COVID-19 deaths, both residents from Putnam County.

One resident died Monday, the other Sunday. 19 people died statewide Monday from COVID, according to the Tennessee Department of Health.

22 patients remain hospitalized with COVID-19 at CRMC. Seven are in ICU, according to Public Relations Director Melahn Finley.

Across Putnam County, 392 active COVID cases are being reported as of Monday. That is the lowest number since July 23.
