Airport Board Approves Raises For Employees

/ The Upper Cumberland's News Leader

Employees at the Upper Cumberland Regional Airport will receive raises based on evaluations.

Airport Manager Dean Selby said the raises range from three to four percent based on evaluation. Selby said the raises were budgeted in the new fiscal year numbers with a total price tag of around $3,000.

The Airport Board approved the raises unanimously Tuesday night.

The board approved a plan to upgrade the conference room in hanger two by beginning a bid process. Selby called it a “refreshing” of the space which local groups use six to eight times per month for meetings. Selby said he wanted to upgrade flooring and furniture in the space. The room will also be painted.

Selby said he estimated a total cost of between $4,000 and $6,000.
