Off-Campus Tech Student COVID Cases Rise

/ The Upper Cumberland's News Leader

The number of Tennessee Tech students with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis has doubled since Monday.

The increase is among students living off-campus. According to data from Tech officials, 37 students living off-campus have tested positive. That’s up from 16 on Monday. Only two students living in residence halls have tested positive.

A Tech spokesman said with students returning and more testing taking place, the University expected a bump in positive numbers.
