Spencer Long-Term Facility Dealing With Outbreak

A Spencer long-term care facility is dealing with a cluster of 13 COVID cases.

Generations Center of Spencer reports six positive COVID cases among its residents. Seven staff members have also tested positive.

The facility on Generations Drive serves some 70 residents.

A total of 272 facilities across the state are dealing with multiple COVID cases. Across the Upper Cumberland, Monterey’s Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center reports 11 patient cases and 13 staff cases. The NHC Smithville facility has four current positive COVID cases.

The majority of the other region facilities reporting cases are staff cases.
