New COVID High At CRMC


The number of positive COVID cases at Cookeville Regional Medical Center reached 42 Monday, a new high.

Seven additional tests are pending.

CRMC Public Relations Director Melahn Finley said residents need to continue wearing masks in public.

Putnam County reported 57 new cases Monday putting the active case number at 383. Overton and Fentress counties report active case tallies over 200.

Since the pandemic began, 423 patients have been treated for COVID at Cookeville Regional. 40 people have died.
