Cookeville Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who held up Crown Wine and Spirits Tuesday night.
Police describe the man as African American, about 6 foot 3 to 6 foot 5 inches tall, in his early to mid 20s. Police said the man entered the store on Washington Avenue just after 8pm and approached an employee with a handgun.
The suspect demanded cash and left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount.
