The Baxter Pharmacy celebrated its grand opening Friday morning.
Owner and Pharmacist Lana Jared was joined by Baxter City officials and community members to celebrate the ribbon cutting. Jared said she has followed her medical passion for 20 years, in hopes of giving back to Baxter.
“Praise the Lord, here we are now and we just want to be a light into our community, give back to our community” Jared said. “We just really want to see Baxter grow and thrive and just be all that God made it to be.”
Jared said she sees her business as a chance to get to know her community and gain their trust by providing locally owned care. The store serves the Baxter area from Nashville Highway near the Gainesboro Grade intersection.
“Coming here you will get excellent care, you will get trustworthy care,” Jared said. “Integrity, faith, community service is what we stand on. We are locally owned, this is truly home town and so, if those things excite you then we are the place for you.”
Along with the grand opening, Baxter Pharmacy will host a Christmas open house until the end of the holiday.
