Picket County Commissioners will meet Monday at 6:00 p.m. via teleconference to request a meat processing class for its Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
The county will also consider renaming Bond Road to Smith Lane. The meeting will end with a COVID update for residents.
Cumberland County Commission Monday will consider a budget amendment to move funds to purchase a new recycling truck.
The total price tag coming in at $65,000. The county’s K-9 kennel transport system could be declared as surplus and donated to the city of Harriman. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. on the third floor of the county courthouse.
The Fentress County Commission will meet for their regular monthly session by conference call Monday at 6:00 p.m. This meeting will be accessible to the public by calling 931-405-9000 and entering the access code of 10421.
The Warren County Commission Monday will consider giving all county employees a one time bonus.
Seven hundred and fifty dollars for full-time employees and $375 for part-time employees is the amendment. Along with committee and financial reports, the county’s courtroom could receive about $10,000 in technology to facilitate virtual meetings if approved.

Tuesday, the Cumberland County Schools Safety Committee will elect a chairman. Discussion starts at 4:30 p.m. at central office.
The White County Commission will convene at the county courthouse Tuesday. Two fire trucks could be declared as surplus to be sold. Also, Peaceful Lane could become a county road depending on the commission.
The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
Van Buren County Schools will hold a work session with COVID cases headlining the agenda. The board of education will also discuss school policy on Wednesday.
