Monterey Aldermen will consider adding land to Meadow Creek Park at its Monday night meeting.
Roughly seven acres of land in an adjacent subdivision could be added to the park. One part of the land includes a scenic waterfall for hiking. It would also give the community a parking area to keep hikers off private land. The meeting begins Monday night at 7pm.
Livingston Aldermen Monday will look at bids for repair of the sewer plant roof. An update on downtown revitalization and the airport also on the agenda for the 6:00pm Monday.
Crossville City Council hopes to take another step toward solving some downtown parking issues Tuesday night as they look at four parcels of land to purchase. The annexation of some ten acres of land along Sparta Highway also on the agenda. Meeting time is 6pm.
Cookeville City Council holds its lone December meeting Thursday. The Overton and White County Schools will update the community on the end of the semester. The Overton County School Board meets Tuesday at 5:30pm while the White County leadership gathers Thursday.
