Cookeville Police are investigating a Friday afternoon robbery at Jackson Plaza’s Party City.
A white male in this late 30s entered the store just before 5pm Friday. According to Cookeville Police, the man entered the store and handed the clerk a note demanding money. Although no gun was displayed, the suspect conducted himself in a manner that indicated he was armed. The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police continue to search for the suspect. He stands approximately 5-10 in height with dark hard and a medium build. He was wearing a dark hoodie sweater.
If you have any information on the suspect or were in the Jackson Plaza area Friday afternoon between 4:30pm and 5:30pm and noticed something suspicious, call the Cookeville Police Department.
