Putnam County Sees Strong Construction Numbers in December


Putnam County bucked the slow construction trend this December, compared to the previous two years.

The county had 20 new permits for $3.77 million dollars, with 16 of those being for new residential homes. In December 2019, the county had 13 permits for $1.5 million. While December 2018 saw 15 permits for $1.44 million.

During the current fiscal year, Putnam County has had 197 permits for $26.4 million. 121 of those permits were for new, single family residential homes.
