Overton County COVID testing is being moved to the county fairgrounds starting Tuesday.
Health Department Nursing Director Megan Reeder said hours of testing are also changing to 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
“That’s to help us with vaccines,” Reeder said. We can get done with testing a little earlier, and then, move into the vaccine base. It will be Monday through Friday on business days. Of course, we are closed on holidays.”
Reeder said drive thru testings will be conducted by entering the fairgrounds at Highway 84. Overton County is averaging about 23 positives a day, Reeder said.
