According to 13th Judicial District Attorney Bryant Dunaway, at least three people were killed in a Cookeville accident Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Willow Avenue and Interstate Drive. According to Mayor Ricky Shelton, north and south bound lanes of Willow Avenue were closed as a result. Traffic has been reportedly moving slowly since then.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol and Cookeville Police Department are assisting in the investigation.
