Cummins Falls State Park Reopens After Missing Person Search

A more than three-day search of Cummins Falls State Park has led TDEC officials to believe the missing person is no longer on park property.

TDEC Communications Director Eric Ward said 42 year-old Robert Qucsai III was not located and Cummins Falls State Park has reopened. Ward said TDEC will continue to work with agency partners to share any information that could help locate the missing man.

The missing man was last seen entering the park at 1:30 PM on February 3rd. At this time TBI is asking the public if they have any information on the missing person to please call 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Ward said Park Rangers will continue to monitor the park. However, he said external resources have been exhausted attempting to search the park for Qucsai.
