Cookeville Police have identified the body found near Woodland Heights as 25-year-old Dylan C. Jones.
On February 4th, a family member of Jones contacted police after Jones was away from his residence for six days. Jones was found by Cookeville City Water Department employees Wednesday in a wooded area north of the dead-end street.
According to Cookeville Police, no foul play is suspected at this point of the investigation. Jones’ body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Law enforcement is asking for any information on suspicious activity in the area between the dates January 29th and February 10th. Call (931)-520-5322.
