Overton Sheriff Dept. Asking Citizens To Stay Home

The Overton County Sheriff’s Department is asking citizens to stay home unless absolutely necessary due to the inclement weather and current road conditions.

“The fewer people there are on the road at this time, the safer the community will be,” Overton County Sheriff John Garrett said.

It is asked that you be prepared if you must travel. For preparedness and precaution, keep a flashlight and blankets in your vehicle.
