Putnam County has opened up its COVID vaccinations to the 55 and up age group, along with phase 2a and 2b starting Monday.
The 2a-b group includes: Child and Adult Protective Services personnel, commercial agriculture and food production, public transit workers, public infrastructure, utilities and others.
Residents can go ahead and start registering at putnamcountytn.gov/vaccine or by calling 931-646-0911. The first appointments will be available starting at noon on Monday.
The registration website might not be updated with the new phase wording, but it will allow people to go ahead and registering now.
