The search continue in Fentress County for one of two inmates that escaped Monday.

According to county dispatch, law enforcement is looking for 35-year-old Charles Kennedy in the area of Round Mountain Road and Commerce Drive Thursday. Kennedy stands at 6’4″, weighs 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Officials ask residents to not approach the inmate and contact local 911 or the sheriff’s department if spotted.

The other inmate, 22-year-old Casey Ridenour, was captured late Monday night. The two individuals escaped custody from the Fentress County Jail Monday morning around 8 a.m.

The two stole a Correctional Officers vehicle to escape the facility and later switched to a Red Dodge Challenger, which lead to a high speed pursuit. The vehicle turned onto Delk Street located off Hwy 127 when the individuals left the vehicle and continued on foot.
