Cookeville Man Charged With Setting Macon County House Fire


A Cookeville man has been indicted for starting a November fire at a Red Boiling Springs home.

46-year-old Troy Wendell Tuck identified by investigators with the TBI and the Macon County Sheriff’s Department. Tuck is charged with one count of Aggravated Arson and one count of False Insurance Claim.

According to the TBI, Tuck allegedly set the fire at 1155 Carthage Road on November 9, 2020.

Tuck being held on $100,000 bond in the Macon County Jail.
