Six COVID deaths reported at Cookeville Regional Medical Center Friday night.
As of Saturday morning, 92 patients are being treated for COVID with 24 vented and 19 in intensive care. 81 of the 92 patients had not received a COVID vaccination.
The State Department of Health reported 114 cases per day over the last two weeks in Putnam County. The positivity rate stands at some 25 percent over the last week. During that same period, Cumberland County’s rate stood at 128 cases.
Thursday, Putnam County reported 112 new COVID cases with 108 in Cumberland County, 54 in Overton County, and 48 in White County.
