CRMC Changes Policy To Allow Visitations For Some COVID Patients

Cookeville Regional changed its visitation policy for some COVID patients Wednesday.

The hospital will now allow one visitor a day for two hours but only for patients that have been housed for at least five days. All patients in ICU will be allowed one visitor even if inpatient is less than 5 days.

Visitation for patients with the last name beginning with A-L will be from Noon-2:00 p.m. and last names beginning M-Z will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Screeners will hand out masks, gowns, face shields and gloves to all visitors, which will be required to be worn. Visitors will not be allowed to leave the patient’s room during their stay.

No changes were made to the visitation policy for non-COVID patients.
