Westbound traffic on Interstate 40 at exit 298 has temporarily stopped after a critical vehicle crash reported by Putnam County 911 and EMA.
According to initial reports, a vehicle crossed the center line and struck multiple westbound vehicles head on. Officials expect the roadway to be closed for approximately two hours.
