Warren Woman Charged On TennCare Fraud, Theft of Services

A Warren County woman arrested Thursday on TennCare fraud and theft of services after allegedly reporting false information to the state.

Thirty-year-old Jessica Tees faces felony charges. Tees lost custody to her children but allegedly continued reporting them as dependents for insurance benefits. As a result, TennCare paid more than $15,549 in fees and claims on her behalf.

The theft of services charge is a class C felony and the TennCare fraud charge is a class D felony. The case is being prosecuted by District Attorney General Lisa S. Zavogiannis, serving Van Buren and Warren Counties.
