The Tennessee Bass Kayak Series will have its second stop at Center Hill Lake on March 19th.
The series kicked off in Byrdstown at Dale Hollow Lake with some 97 anglers in attendance. Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber President Amy New said that they work hard to bring events like these to the area in hopes of highlighting the Upper Cumberland.
“We are thrilled to welcome fishermen from across the state to Putnam County,” New said. “We place a heavy emphasis on recruiting events like these to the Upper Cumberland, as we know these fishermen and their families will fall in love with our area and will thereby be supporting our economy during their current and future stays.”
The 2023 BASSMASTER Classic will be held in Tennessee once again, with Cookeville as a contender for the championship location.
