Lapierre said Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist Suzanne Angel will conduct the training. Angel will be at the American Legion Hall from noon until 5:00 p.m.

“I went to a class that she was teaching in another county and I asked how could I bring you to White County,” Lapierre said. “She said here is my card call me. This is actually the second one. We try to do one or two a year.”

Lapierre said the event will be a judge free zone with recovery support and treatment referrals available.
