Cookeville City Council Approves Sale Agreement For Highlands Business Park Lot

Cookeville City Council approved the sale-purchase agreement of a lot in Highlands Business Park Thursday night.

Economic and Community Development Coordinator Melinda Keifer said that an existing Cookeville employer is looking to expand to that location. The sale-purchase agreement will be considered by the Putnam County Commission at its meeting Monday night.

City Council also approved a bid of some $218,660 for the Cane Creek Park Shoreline Stabilization project. Leisure Services Director Rick Woods said that the project will reestablish the north shoreline and protect the paved path from future erosion.
