A Comcast outage in Carthage has caused Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation’s payment system to go offline.
IT Manager Wade Givens said members will not be able to make payments in-person or online until services are restored. Givens said Comcast has indicated that the outage should be restored by the end of the day.
The outage also impacts the 800 number and email, so outage calls will be rerouted.
