A Baxter man has died as a result of a motorcycle accident on I-40 East at noon on Saturday.
60-year-old David Moody was attempting to change lanes in his 2016 Ducati Motorcycle when he struck the rear of a tractor-trailer.
According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, the tractor-trailer continued east as it is unclear the tractor-trailer driver knew that the motorcycle struck the vehicle.
