White Co. Planning Approves Two Final Subdivision Plats On Duck Pond Road

White County Planning Commission has approved two final subdivision plats for new lots on Duck Pond Road.

UCDD Planning and Community Development Director Tommy Lee said that it is anticipated the proposed new lots will be used as single-family residential developments.

“These were pretty easy plats, all infrastructure was already in place, roads were already built, water lines were already in the ground,” Lee said. “Basically all the developer had to do was put in fire hydrants and those were put in, so it met all of our requirements and we were able to approve both of those plats.”

One plat submitted by George Johnson proposed to subdivide 13.2 acres into 15 proposed new lots. The other plat submitted by Sam Langford proposed to subdivide 10.5 acres into 19 new lots.
