This Week Cookeville Planning Considers Lovelady Road Development For Study


This week in the Upper Cumberland the Cookeville Planning Commission will consider a 316 lot subdivision for study Monday.

Titan Development proposing a preliminary plat for Timberwalk Subdivision on Lovelady Road. Several residents have spoke out against the development during the rezoning phase.

The Commission will also consider amending it 2030 Land Use Concept Plan to depict a parcel on North Old Kentucky Road appropriate for lower density developments. Business begins at 5:30 in the council chambers.

The DeKalb County Commission will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Putnam County will open bids for site preparations at the new Expo Center and Fairgrounds on Tennessee Avenue. Mayor Randy Porter will receive sealed bids at 2:00 p.m.

The Cookeville Regional Medical Center Planning and Finance Committee will meet Tuesday at 4:30. Members will discuss topics to be brought to the hospital’s Board of Trustees Thursday at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, the Van Buren County School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m.

Thursday, the Cumberland County Board of Education will meet at 6:00 p.m.
