Bangham Convenience Center No Longer Accepting Brush Drop Off For Foreseeable Future

Putnam County Solid Waste asking residents to bring any brush for disposal directly to the Putnam County Landfill.

Director Doug Ashburn said that inability to get employees at the Bangham Convenience Center has created difficulty in the disposal process.

“We’ve not been able to clean that site up for probably two to three months now, and it all goes to the landfill to be ground up,” Ashburn said. “So this will cut out a step.”

The change goes into Thursday, July 14th, and will remain in effect until further notice. Ashburn said the Bangham Convenience Center will still have business as usual, minus brush drop-off.
