New Traffic Flow At Livingston Academy To Accommodate Stadium Construction

A new traffic flow at Livingston Academy is getting better as school has gone back into session.

Principal Mandy Looper said the school made the change due to construction on the new football stadium.

“We actually had to because of student safety,” Looper said. “Our students are not permitted to be in the loop that once was parent pick-up due to it basically being a hard-hat zone right now.”

Looper said parents can only enter Livingston Academy via Old Celina Highway, with one lane that will go to the front of the school and loop back towards Old Celina Highway. Bus pickup students will be dismissed early to lessen traffic congestion.

Looper said they will revert to the old traffic flow once stadium construction is complete, which she estimates will be early September.
