This Week Cookeville Planning Considers Subdivisions, Monterey Street Committee Meets


This week in the Upper Cumberland the Cookeville Planning Commission will meet Monday.

A preliminary Plat for 132 lots along East Spring Street the largest development being considered. Members will gather at the Cookeville Municipal Building at 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, the Cookeville Regional Medical Center Committees will meet in a work session to prepare for its full meeting. The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. with the full Board meeting happening at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Monterey Street Committee will discuss city paving Thursday morning. Christmas lights and improvements by Vine Ridge Church are also on the agenda. The committee gathers at 10:00 a.m.

The Fentress County Commission will reconvene Thursday afternoon. Commissioners will discuss unfinished business with a medical insurance bid from its meeting earlier this week at 6:00 p.m.

Friday, the Highlands Residential Services Board will have a special called meeting. Business will involve future plans for the Hickory Valley development. It takes place at noon.
