Cookeville Cityscape Executive Director Steps Down, Non-Profit Accepting Applications

Cookeville Cityscape Executive Director Holly Freeman has stepped down from her position.

Freeman leaves for entertainment work in Nashville. She has lead the Main Street program and revitalization efforts since 2019.

“It has been an honor to lead Cookeville’s nationally-accredited Main Street program the last few years,” Freeman said in a release. “I have enjoyed contributing to my hometown in this way and continuing the important work of downtown revitalization. I grew up in Cookeville, but lived in Nashville for nearly 15 years before returning home. I am excited to take on a new role with Opry Entertainment Group as Sr. Manager of Brand Partnerships.”

Cityscape will now be accepting applications for the position until October 14th.

“We want to thank Holly for her commitment and hard work to CityScape the last few years,” Chair of the CityScape Board Tiffany Davidson said in a relase. “It has been a challenging few years for nonprofits, and we applaud her for taking on those challenges. We are sad to see her go, but excited for her, as we know she will do great things.”
