New Emergency Medicine Company Brings Back The House Call To Alleviate ER Waits

A local emergency medicine business working to bring back the house call.

ER2GO was started after Founder and Nurse Practitioner Jameson Kelly saw a need to help families avoid long wait times and potential illness in crowded Emergency Rooms. He said he also knows that when you’re ill, you want to have the comfort of home.

“We should change that model a little bit,” Kelly said. “Wait a minute you’re sick, maybe give us a call, let us see if we can help you, and then you don’t have to leave you don’t have to go sit in a waiting room. We are there for those urgent care needs those things that come up unexpectedly you need something done now, and we hope to be available for that.”

Kelly said their in-person services range from COVID testing to IV treatments to minor sprain sets. He said they also have a telehealth option, where patients can make urgent care appointments virtually to talk about symptoms and potentially order prescriptions.

Kelly said they do not intend to replace emergency rooms or primary care doctors. He said if a situation is life or death, such as a heart attack or anaphylactic shock, patients should seek treatment at an Emergency Room.
