Livingston Preparing For Falloween Event This Saturday

One of Livingston’s biggest community events happening this Saturday as a part of the Halloween weekend.

It’s the seventh annual Falloween. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shannon Cantrell said over 4,500 pieces of candy have been purchased to be given out.

“This is a completely free event,” Cantrell said. “It’s free to attend, and it’s free to set up. It is truly a community event, and it is such a great way to get everybody together to have a good time and market our businesses.”

Cantrell said trick-or-treating will happen from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cantrell said after that, you can move down to Central Park for live music before a night showing of Ghostbusters: After Life.

“We expect it to be a huge event this time,” Cantrell said. “We have great weather. I think we have the perfect day for this event, and I am just excited.”

Cantrell said there will also be haunted trails, pumpkin painting and costume contests. Last year, some 7,000 came through Livingston for the event, Cantrell said.
