Byrdstown Voters Decide Against Legal Sale Of Liquor By The Drink


The liquor referendum in Byrdstown has failed.

One hundred and sixty-seven voters went against the legal sale of liquor. One hundred and twenty-three city residents voted for the legal sale.

The referendum was placed on the ballot after the Byrdstown Board of Aldermen approved it in August of this year.
