Algood Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges


A Christmas night traffic stop in Algood resulted in a drug arrest for a McMinnville man.

37-year-old Joshua Mullican arrested after police allegedly found Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in plain view. Algood Police stopped Mullican on an expired out-of-state temporary tag.

After a deeper search, police found an active one-pot meth lab, used drug pipes, scales, syringes, burglary tools and additional drugs in the vehicle. Mullican booked into the Putnam County Jail on charges of the manufacture, delivery/sale of Methamphetamine, Possession of burglary tools, drug paraphernalia, possession of Subutex as well as the traffic violation.

Mullican booked on $13,000 bond.
