Cookeville Police Department investigating a hit-and-run crash that involved a pedestrian early Tuesday morning.
The initial investigation indicated that a pedestrian was jogging on Brown Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound. The vehicle did not stop and was last seen on video traveling east on East 10th Street.
If anyone witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken with police, please call the Traffic Enforcement Division of the Cookeville Police Department. Additionally, if anyone with video in the area is urged to review their devices and report any findings to the police.
