Early numbers show former President Donald Trump with a resounding Super Tuesday win in the Upper Cumberland.
A total of 1,111 voters casted early or absentee ballots in White County. Trump took 87 percent of the vote. Nikki Haley finished with 11 percent of that early vote.
In Pickett County, Trump controlled the Republican primary taking 88.4 percent of the vote with four of nine precincts reporting.
With four precincts reporting in Jackson County, Trump tallied 90 percent of the vote Tuesday night.
One of seven precincts reporting in Clay County and Trump’s lead over Nikki Haley stands at 86-10.
