Algood Planning Tables Pet Facility Decision


Algood Planning Commission accepted for study the final site plan for a new multi-purpose pet facility on Highway 111, near Mirandy Road.

The Board of Zoning Appeals must still rule on a 20-foot setback variance request from the owner. After that variance is heard, the Planning Commission would rule on the site plan.

The facility would include pet daycare and kennels as well as facilities for pet grooming and baking.

The property includes three different zoning restrictions, General Commercial, High Density Residential and Light Industrial.

The Zoning Appeal variance request set to be heard May 23.
