Reversing his decision of earlier in the week, the owner of Satellite Med said late Wednesday night the medical clinic would remain open.
Dr. James Cates said community support and new options for financing led to his decision. He said there would be changes but said they would not be noticeable to the patients.
“The outpouring of love through emails, posts and texts has been extremely humbling and touching and more so has confirmed in us that God is not finished,” Cates said in a statement.
The urgent care will reopen Thursday.
