Power crews worked through the evening to restore power after Thursday night’s storm.
As of 4am Friday morning, some 300 Upper Cumberland Electric customers remain with power. The greatest number at the Overton County Putnam County line in the Hilham Road/Tommy Dodson Highway area. Crews also working outages on the east side of Highway 111 in Rickman.
A third pocket of outages still being repaired in the Round Top and Harris Mountain areas.
The majority of Volunteer Energy outages have been repaired. 213 homes still without power in Overton County, 104 in Fentress County.
The Upper Cumberland Electric outage map clearly shows the travel of the storm that caused issues Thursday night beginning in Jackson County, cutting through Overton and ending in Fentress County.
