Crossville Police Want Help In Friday Downtown Shooting


Crossville police are asking witnesses to come forward following a shooting that left one man dead Friday afternoon.

Police say a verbal altercation in front of the Veteran’s War Memorial in downtown Crossville escalated, resulting in the shooting of an unidentified man.

Video posted online show the victim being shot in head following an altercation with four people in front of the courthouse. The victim falls to the ground while the others scatter.

Police describe this as an ongoing investigation and are asking witnesses to contact the police department.
