The Algood Municipal Planning Commission has approved a final site plan for a new church located at the corner of Lindenwood Drive and Highway 111.
Unity Church of the Cumberlands approved for a church, playground, and a pavilion. Staff Planner Tommy Lee said the site plan went through study and met all requirements.
Lee said the church will not impact Highway 111 as the church plans to build an access point on Lindenwood Drive.
